Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC-General Trade)
Legal Requirement
The Construction Safety Orientation Course, CSOC is a mandatory WSH training course for all workers working in the construction industry. Construction workers are required to go through the CSOC before they start work at the worksite. The Workplace Safety and Health (Factories ,Safety Training Courses order – clause 2 (6)) stipulates that Any worker employed inmanual labour to carry out construction work in building and engineering construction worksites must undergo a safety and health training course approved by the Commissioner for Workplace Safety and Health.
Construction Safety Orientation Course is For Whom
Construction workers and any workers who need to enter a construction worksite. Course Contents- Recognise the common safety and health hazards
- Takes precautions to avoid injuries and diseases in the construction sites
- Accident case studies
- Developing a positive attitude towards safety.
- Good housekeeping practises
- Occupational diseases and injuries at worksites
- Measure to prevent accidents
- All the students, must bring their own safety shoes on the 2nd day of the course.
Certification:
- Participants who have attended 100% of the training sessions and passed the course assessments, a certificate of achievement endorsed by Ever Safe Consultants Pte. Ltd. will be issued to all participants.
